Determining your dogs Jump HeightMeasuring your dog: All dogs must be measured to determine their jump height. Jump and Obstacle height are set according to the height of the dog. Measurements are taken at the withers or scapula (shoulders), which is the highest point at the base of the neck. Dogs must be in a natural standing position, not stacked (show position), stretched or crouched with all four feet on the ground. Groups or clubs usually supply their own accurate measuring devices and/or accurate measuring wickets at the appropriate heights, these heights could be slightly different from club to club. Below, find jump heights for various clubs taken directly from their respective sites and rule books, they are for informational purposes only, for official rules pertaining to any association please visit their web sites or follow the links provided.
